Identify which part of the link failed
There are several different problems behind the phrase PikoBuy link not working. The source marketplace may no longer show the listing; a shared message may contain a shortened link and extra text; the PikoBuy importer may fail to display the item; or the product may load while a particular color or size is unavailable. Record the error and distinguish these situations before trying a workaround.
Open the original marketplace listing through its normal interface. Check the seller, product title and available variants. If the marketplace requires an account or app, use its supported access method. Do not interpret a sign-in prompt as proof that the listing was deleted. Equally, do not bypass an access restriction or enter credentials into a third-party link-cleaning service.
If the source itself reports that the listing is unavailable, look for a current link from the seller or use a sourcing request. A different listing with similar photos is a new candidate that needs its own checks. Product images, cached titles and an old spreadsheet entry cannot establish that the original item is still for sale.
Copy a complete product URL
Use the marketplace’s product share or browser address function and separate the URL from surrounding promotional text. A copied message can include a title, invitation, coupon language and more than one link. Paste the actual product URL into the buying interface. Keep the original message privately so you can compare it if the shortened link opens an unexpected destination.
When a legitimate share link redirects to a full product page, confirm the final seller and item before copying that address. Do not delete parameters at random: some identify the product or selected option. Avoid manually reconstructing a Taobao or Weidian URL from a number unless the source platform itself provides that exact destination. A syntactically valid URL can still point to the wrong listing.
Check for missing characters, punctuation copied after the URL and accidental spaces. If a browser shows a security warning or an unexpected domain, stop and obtain a fresh link from the original seller or marketplace. A link resolver should never need your PikoBuy password or payment details merely to show a product.
Check the imported seller and variant
Paste the complete URL into PikoBuy’s current search or buying flow. Its beginner guide describes link-based ordering from sources including Taobao, Tmall, 1688, Weidian and Yupoo. That published workflow does not guarantee that every listing or share-link format imports at every moment. A temporary failure needs a source check and, where available, the supported manual or sourcing flow.
If an item loads, compare its title, seller, image, option labels and displayed price with the source. Select the exact size, color, model and quantity. A working page with missing variants is not a completed order. Do not pay for a default option while assuming an order note will substitute for the correct selection.
Record any mismatch clearly. For example: the source lists three colors but the imported page shows one; the source size option is unavailable; or the item image belongs to an accessory rather than the intended main product. Take screenshots that show the product evidence without exposing personal account details. A concrete mismatch is easier for support to investigate than a generic report that the link is broken.
Handle Yupoo albums and incomplete listings
An image album can document appearance without supplying a normal checkout, stock status or a usable price. If a Yupoo reference does not resolve into a purchasable item, ask for the associated source listing or use the currently supported sourcing process. Include the album URL, exact image or model reference, desired variant and any seller information already provided.
Do not treat a placeholder price, an album title or a social-media caption as a confirmed purchase quote. Ask what the order will contain and how the exact option is identified. If the seller cannot provide dimensions or a clear variant specification, decide whether that uncertainty is acceptable before payment.
When you have only an image, use the image-search workflow to collect candidates and then verify each listing. Visual similarity is useful for discovery but cannot repair missing seller, stock or pricing information. Save the chosen listing as a new source rather than silently replacing the original link in your records.
Use a focused support or sourcing request
If the original listing works but import still fails, provide official support with the full source URL, marketplace, current error text, time checked and the exact variant you want. Mention whether the problem affects the whole product page or just one option. Use the platform’s supported request channel; do not send account passwords or unrelated payment screenshots.
A practical request can state: the source page opens, the desired option is the black model in size 42, and the importer does not display its size selector. Ask whether that exact variant can be purchased and what additional information is needed. This describes the required outcome without assuming a cause such as a platform outage or seller ban.
If you already paid, work from the existing order record before creating a duplicate. Check whether the purchase is awaiting confirmation, needs a response or has been cancelled. A second order can create duplicate purchases while the first remains active. Preserve the original order number and ask support to clarify its status.
Verify the order after the link is fixed
A successful import resolves only the technical step. Recheck the merchandise price, domestic delivery, selected quantity and any displayed charges. Save the final order summary and original source evidence. Product availability may change between discovery and purchasing, so rely on the confirmed order rather than an earlier cached result.
When warehouse photographs arrive, compare them with the saved variant and listing. If the import required manual clarification, pay particular attention to the feature that was ambiguous. Request a targeted additional photograph when necessary and review current return eligibility before submitting international shipping.
Keep separate records for source discovery, purchasing, warehouse inspection and the parcel. The source URL explains what you asked to buy; the order explains what was purchased; warehouse evidence shows what arrived; and the parcel record tracks dispatch. Maintaining those distinctions prevents a corrected link from hiding a later specification or delivery problem.
